Yes! All of our classes are thoughtfully sequenced for all levels of experience. Our instructors offer pose variations and use of props to help you feel supported, whether you’re brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner. You’ll be able to move at your own pace and encouraged to make the practice your own.
We highly recommend pre-registering to reserve your spot—especially for our popular classes, which can fill up to waitlisted quickly! Walk-ins are welcome if space allows, but signing up ahead of time guarantees your spot. It also helps make check-in or first time registration smoother, and allows our instructors to prepare for you or contact you should there be any unexpected changes to the class. You can easily register and cancel classes using the Momence App.
For events and workshop we may require a mininmum number of attendees to be pre-registered in order to hold the event – so registering early is important.
We’re so excited to welcome you to the studio! Here are a few helpful things to know before your first visit:
Arrive Early: Our doors open 15–20 minutes before class begins. Arriving early gives you time to complete any registration steps, take a quick tour, ask questions, and settle onto your mat. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class starts—our doors are locked at the start of class to maintain a peaceful environment.
Shoes Off: Yoga is practiced barefoot. Please remove your shoes in the lobby and place them, along with personal items not needed for class, in the cubbies provided.
Silence Devices: Turn your phone and smartwatch to silent mode before class begins—and double-check that any alarms are off. This helps keep the space quiet and distraction-free for everyone.
Scent Sensitivity: Please avoid using tobacco products or wearing strong perfumes or heavily scented products before class.
Studio Scents & Towels: We sometimes burn palo santo, sage, or incense prior to class and offer cool lavender-scented towels during savasana. If you have allergies or sensitivities, please let us know by noting it in your account profile so we can accommodate you.
We’re here to support your practice—if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move and stretch in—think activewear or anything you’d feel good flowing in. Yoga is practiced barefoot, so shoes are not worn in the studio. We ask that you remove your shoes in the lobby and store them, along with any non-yoga items, in our cubbies. Socks are totally fine if you prefer, and we recommend ones with grippers for safety.
Please bring your yoga mat, a resealable water bottle, and a willingness to try something new— you might surprise yourself!
We encourage bringing your own mat, but if you’re new to yoga or forgot yours, we do have mats available for you to borrow.
If you have an injury or any physical limitations, we encourage you to let your instructor know before class begins. Our teachers can offer modifications and pose variations to help you practice safely and comfortably. As always, listen to your body and only do what feels right for you. If you’re under a doctor’s care, we recommend checking with them before starting or resuming a yoga practice.
At this time, our dedicated kids yoga classes are paused due to low attendance and teacher availability. Our regular classes are not specifically designed for small children, but if your child is old enough or mature enough to stay on their own mat, follow along, and participate without being distracting or disruptive, they are welcome to join you in most classes. Kids 12 and under can attend for a $10 drop-in rate.
Please note: Certain classes—such as Buti Yoga, FeetUp, and Rage Yoga—are not appropriate for children and are intended for adult participants only.
