Studio Policies
At True You Yoga, we’re committed to creating a welcoming, peaceful, and respectful space for all who walk through our doors. Please take a moment to review our studio policies to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for yourself and your fellow community members.
Class Registration & Check-In
Pre-registration is encouraged via the Momence app or at trueyouyogastudio.com/schedule.
- Classes with zero students registered two hours before class start time may be cancelled due to attendance.
Arrive 5–10 minutes early to check in and get settled. Please check in at the front desk or with the teacher before entering the practice space.
Doors are locked at class start time to maintain a quiet, focused environment. Are you coming in hot (right at the start of class)? Let us know ahead of time and we can have a place set up and ready for you. Late arrivals may not be admitted.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Regular Classes:
Cancel at least 2 hours before class to avoid a $5 late cancel fee.
Please use the Momence app or website to cancel your reservation.
If you need to cancel within 2 hours due to unforeseen circumstances, call or text us at 812-596-4281. We do not accept cancellations through social media as we don’t see them in a timely mannor.
Each student is allowed one no-show without penalty. After that, a $10 no-show fee will be charged.They are allowed two late cancellations without penalty. After that, a $5 late cancel fee will be charged.
Special Events & Workshops
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund.
If you’re unable to attend, your spot can be transferred to another person — just let us know.
If a workshop or event is canceled due to low attendance, you will receive a full refund or account credit—your choice.
Class Packages & Expiration
- All class passes and packages have a set expiration date (visible in your account).
As of February 1, 2024, we no longer offer pass extensions.
If you purchase a new package, unused expired classes may be rolled into the new pass by emailing us at hello@trueyouyogastudio.com.
You may gift or share your class passes with a friend. Just reach out and we’ll make it happen!
Private Session & Sound Therapy Appointments
- If you’re scheduled for a Vibrational Sound or Vibroacoustic Therapy session, please complete the intake form ahead of your appointment.
- Appointments require a 24 hour cancellation. Cancellations less than 24 hours may be charged a fee up to 50% of the service price.
- All No-Shows will be charged in full for the appointment missed using the card saved on file.
- If you are late for your appointment your service may be shortened to stay within your allowed time slot. There are no refunds or account credit for deducted time due to late arrival. Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time.
Retail Purchases
- Retail items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days if unused, unworn, and still sealed or with original tags attached.
No returns on opened, used, or final sale items.
Studio Etiquette
- Remove your shoes at the front door and store them over in the community area in one of the cubbies.
- Turn off or silence your cellphone – don’t forget alarms and smart watches too.
- Please avoid wearing heavy perfumes, smoking/vaping, or other strong scents before class.
- We burn palo Santo and sage before classes, let us know if you are sensitive to these smells or have an allergy to lavender.
- Doors are open 10 minutes before class and 30 minutes before events and workshops. Please be mindful of the class before yours and do not yank or bang on the door. The teacher will unlock the door as soon as possible.
